Depression
Addiction

Grief/Loss
Disordered eating
Low self-esteem / lack of confidence
Emotions that feel out-of-control

Behavioral health issues
Meeting with a psychologist can be considered in much the same way as going to a medical doctor for a check-up. It is important to seek help when something doesn’t feel quite right.
Athletes
Jodi has worked with NCAA Division-1, student-athletes and understands the unique challenges, stressors, and rewards of being a high-performance athlete. Whether currently on a team or working toward recruitment, Jodi can help to navigate the process and optimize the experience.
Identity Development
Knowing oneself can be one of the most important and difficult aspects of living well and thriving. Jodi has spent over 10 years studying and creating clinical resources for identity development for individuals of all ages and stages in life - from adolescents and emerging adults, to mid-life transitions and aging adults.
Diversity + Culture
Jodi spent four years living and counseling in Doha, Qatar and worked extensively with both the local and expat communities. She understands the unique challenges of living in a country that is not your own or navigating issues of diversity within a dominant culture.
Adolescents + Young Adults
Growing into adulthood is challenging, especially given the various stresses and issues that young people are facing today: identity questions, performance expectations, overwhelming accessibility to technology, social media pressures, global concerns, etc. Counseling provides a safe space to sort it all out and find the path to grow and thrive.
Relationships + Couples
We all have a desire to be loved and connected to others, yet our relationships can often be negatively impacted by unhelpful communication styles or hurtful experiences from our past. Learn to identify toxic relational dynamics and dysfunctional patterns and develop new skills and personal awareness to create life-giving relationships.
Parenting + Families
Parenting can be one of the most significant jobs of our lives and yet we often have little or no preparation and training. For many of us, the examples we had in our own lives were not helpful. As a mother of five herself, Jodi helps parents navigate life’s developmental stages, support a struggling child, and cultivate family dynamics that bring out the best in each other.
Meaning + Purpose
Jodi is particularly passionate about helping individuals discover meaning and purpose in their lives. While honoring the value of personal faith traditions, Jodi integrates spirituality and psychology in helping individuals live their best life.
